In large diameter column, the gas can not distribute equably without vapor distributor. For the column diameter less than 2 meter, orifice pipe vapor distributor is a simple and efficient vapor distributor (as shown in Fig.1). For larger diameter column, the riser type vapor distributor is more efficient (as shown in Fig.2).
